QA Automation Engineer Responsibilities:
Meeting software design team, discussing verification protocols
Identifying software weaknesses, target areas
Sketching automated test procedure ideas
Reviewing software bug reports, highlighting problem areas
Writing automation scripts, implementing applications
Designing, installing software databases
Troubleshooting automation software, finalizing procedures
Identifying quality issues, creating test reports
Collaborating with design team to solve application faults
QA Automation Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, or similar field
Previous QA automation engineer experience
Advanced programming skills: automation systems, databases
Familiarity with programming script languages: Java, VBScript
Excellent analytical skills
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, testing protocols
